Bocchetta Plush Toys Cooper the Tasmanian Tiger

Cooper is a handcrafted large-size realistic Tasmanian Tiger soft plush toy in a standing position with hand airbrushed details.

The thylacine has a general appearance of a medium-to-large-size dog and has dark transverse stripes on its back, reminiscent of a tiger. The thylacine was one of only two marsupials to have a pouch in both genders.

History

Bocchetta Plush Toys was established in 1948, in Arona, Italy by Giovanni Bocchetta and Clementina Ottobrini. Giovanni adored animals and was inspired to produce stuffed animals. Every toy was hand sewn and they made their own fur. Linda Bocchetta, an Australian citizen, met Luigi (Giovanni and Clementina's son) while she was living in Italy. They continued to operate the family business in Italy together before moving it to Indonesia, where they increased the scope of production. In 2005, they moved the design and wholesale section of the business to Australia where it continues to operate today.
