Owned by the Chua family, Kara Online started as a franchise of The Nextra Group in April 1997. Located in Westfield Chatswood, Sydney NSW, we stock one of the widest ranges of Calendars, Diaries, School Study Guides and Greeting Cards. We also endeavour to supply our customers with new and exciting giftware ranges to satisfy every occasion. We are one of the largest and more successful newsagencies in Australia and one of our main aims has always been to provide excellent customer service.

Our Team

Consisting of more than 20 staff, the whole team work together to bring customers the best shopping experience both in store and online. This includes everything from providing our customers with amazing new products to ensuring we offer the best customer service.

Our Growth

We began our expansion to the online market in 2015. Thanks to the support we’ve received from our customers, we have expanded our business to different platforms including eBay, Amazon, Kogan, MyDeal and our very own online store, KaraOnline. Our online business aims to deliver a wide range of products to customers Australia wide, as quickly as possible. We have a one business day turnover on our orders and ship via Australia Post, Sendle, Aramex and Couriers Please.

Our Achievements

In 2015, we won the Newsagency of the Year Award presented by the Newsagents Association of NSW & ACT in recognition of our service excellence.

We have achieved a 100% positive feedback score on eBay from our customers. Their feedback is greatly appreciated as we continue to grow and expand our business.
